31 years ago I got my GCSE results. I was predicte 31 years ago I got my GCSE results. I was predicted all passes and some really good grades. In reality I had 5 above C and 4 Ds. Still though it got me to the next place, A Levels. At this point I knew I wanted to head into teaching and so a core subject would be good. So it was off to do Maths, Sociology and Psychology. A Levels are a massive jump up and required work ( I got my GCSEs with very little work and had potential to do better, fact is I was lazy and was enjoying being that age 🙈) Also, during my second year of A Levels my dad started experiencing heart problems and had a triple heart bypass the June of my final A Levels. Results day came and it was 3 Es, not enough for my Uni choice, or so I thought! The following day I had a letter accepting me to my first choice uni in Birmingham, I was over the moon. Choosing to do a teaching degree for Primary I had to have that core subject and for me it was Maths, this was high in demand for Universities, English was over subscribed but Maths they were crying out for. 4 years later I obtained my B.Ed honours degree with a 2:1 and was over the moon, I had realised I needed to work a bit harder and knuckled down more..... Don't get me wrong I still had a blast! This was 1999, I taught for a year in Birmingham and moved to London where I taught till 2008 before moving to Wales. I haven't taught since! My cake business was set up in 2011. Now cakes was never a passion of mine pre 2010 really, I made a few things here and there but I am pretty much self taught. Do I need GCSEs, A Levels and a Degree to do what I do? No, I mean there are some things that have been a steep learning curve but not what I learnt in Georgraphy back in the 1990s! So my point is, today, what will be will be. It's all done and it's the stepping stone to the next phase, whatever that might be. And, even if that is University, who is to say in 30 years you will still be doing what you set out to do. I know a lot of people do stay in the same industry and I am probably in the minority but in the grand scheme of things today is just another day. #chocolate #resultsday #exam results #printedchocolate #resultsgift #welldonegift

I tried it previously and failed, then I spent half a day failing and failing and failing ( no exaggerating) and then it happened and continues to happen! I am so pleased I persevered as the end result is so worth it, don't you think? This isnt my original method and tbh it really depends on the embosser.
